1. Terms used - explained in a way that everyone can understand:
Site = the website foodiescanner.com (and its moderators), with all its applications and sections.
User = any natural and/or legal person who accesses the website https://foodiescanner.com or the Foodie Scanner application
Buyer = The user of the site who purchases one or more products and/or services displayed in the application or on foodiescanner.com
Moderators = the people who check messages published by users/buyers before or after their publication.
Terms and conditions = this user agreement
Supplier = Ghica Reinvent Media srl, established and operating in accordance with Romanian legislation, with its registered office at Batrani No 98, Mosoaia city, Arges, at the Trade Register Office with J32/593/24.03.2023, with the Unique Registration Code RO34041692
2. Acceptance of the terms
Using the website foodiescanner.com or the application implies unconditional and full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By using the website/application foodiescanner.com is meant both accessing, visiting, registering an account on the website/application, sending messages, and/or using the services offered on the website/application. Please take a few minutes to read them. We reserve the right to modify and update this page at any time. The Terms and Conditions page is permanently available and can be consulted at any time here.
Any User who accesses the site/application foodiescanner.com and/or who provides personal information through the forms available on the Site/Application gives his/her consent for his/her data to be collected and processed by the Provider for the provision of services under optimal conditions as well as for marketing purposes, including direct marketing, in compliance with and without prejudice to the rights of the data subject in the context of the processing of personal data, namely the information of the data subject, the right of access to data, the right of intervention on data, the right of opposition, the right not to be subject to an individual decision and the right to seek legal action. At the same time, the User has the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning him/her and to request the deletion of the data. 3. Description of the services provided
Foodie Scanner is a website/application that provides information about additives/E-numbers in food products.

3.1. Use of the application/site
In order to use the application/site, a User must create and have an account and be authenticated in the account. Please fill in real contact details
3.2. Scanning service
The application allows scanning food products and displaying the additives/E-numbers contained in that product. For this service, the user must photograph the ingredients written in English, displayed on the selected food product. There are cases (examples: crumpled label, technically inadequate photo, blurry photo, not including all ingredients in the photo and more) when the scanner results are not 100% consistent with reality.
There is 1 type of package for the product scanning service, and this is for a fee:
- Name: Application service price: To download the application from Google Play or App Store, the payment displayed in one of the stores above will have to be made.
- Payment will be debited to the iTunes account in the case of Apple or to the Google account in the case of Google Pay upon confirmation of purchase, depending on the phone's operating system (IOS or Android).
The available payment methods will be found in the application.
4. Eligibility, registration and cancellation
- The foodiescanner.com website and the application are intended for natural and/or legal persons with full legal capacity.
- In order to use the services offered by the Foodie Scanner application, you must create an account in the application if you are asked to be authenticated. Creating an account in the application and on the foodiescanner.com website can be done using your email address and a password. The profile data created on the foodiescanner.com website must be real, complete and updated. Multiple registrations with the same email address are not allowed.
- Sending messages through Foodie Scanner is possible by creating an account and implies the user's acceptance of this.
- The authentication data is confidential. We recommend that you take precautions and choose a strong password that you do not give to anyone.
- If, for various reasons, you wish to give up your account, send us an email at contact@foodiescanner.com and we will deactivate your account.
- The Foodie Scanner application downloaded and paid for on a device with an Android operating system (examples: Samsung, Motorola, etc.) cannot be transferred to a device with an iOS operating system (example: iPhone) or vice versa (from iOS to Android). To switch from one operating system to another, the user will have to make a new payment on the other device, with a different operating system.
- The validity and functionality of the Foodie Scanner application is strictly linked to the phone account from which the payment was made, i.e.: Google account in the case of Android or Apple account (Apple ID) in the case of iOS).
- The use of the application is allowed only on a single device/phone. Activating it on another device cancels its validity on the previous device.
- We reserve the right to delete or edit any user account that does not comply with the Terms and Conditions, in any way. We also reserve the right to block or deactivate an account that does not comply with the provisions of this document, whose content is not in accordance with reality or otherwise violates any legal provision and may harm the security of the activities of other users of the Foodie Scanner website and application.
